From Marvel's Spider-Man to Metal Gear Rising, the Steam Deck has proven to be a flexible handheld that has opened up PC gaming like never before. One of the big selling points of the Steam Deck is its native access to Valve's digital marketplace and the staggering amount of support for over 8,000 verified titles on it. There's even an official dock available for it, so if you're tired of playing games in bed, you can hook it up to a monitor or TV.

This week saw the release of an update to transfer installed games and game files between PCs and Steam Decks via a local network, and the system has a user-friendly design that allows you to easily customize it.

Since it launched, Valve has added a number of software updates and quality-of-life improvements to the Steam Deck.
